The advanced school brings together experts who are working in the area of computer architecture to give lectures on various aspects of this influential and evolving branch of computer science. The school will cover memory systems, coherence and consistency, on-chip-network, temperature and power management, and architecture for emerging workloads (e.g., graph analytics). Our goal is to demonstrate the importance of computer architecture and its role in the design and implementation of modern computer systems. The level of lectures will be suitable for graduate students, young researchers, and also experts from other areas of computer science who intend to establish interdisciplinary links with computer architecture.
