IPM Two-Day Workshop on

Thinking in GPU

Scope

A two-day workshop on “Thinking in GPU” will be held in the IPM School of Computer Science. It will provide:

• Massively parallel processor architectures (a.k.a. GPU architectures)
• Massively parallel platform (a.k.a. GPU) languages and APIs
• Performance considerations
• Application case studies
• Programming sessions and GPU programming skills

Prerequisites

• Attendees should be familiar with:
  • Either C or C++ programming
  • Linux/Shell (recommended)

Workshop Requirement

Each attendee, or at most two, need to bring a laptop equipped with a wireless modem and an installed version of a SSH Client program.
