Congratulations on having your paper accepted for publication in the proceedings of the 15th CSI
International Symposium on Computer Architecture and Digital Systems (CADS2010) to be held September 23-24,
2010, in the School of Computer Science, IPM, Tehran, Iran.
Accepted papers for presentation will appear in the Conference Proceedings, which will be published by the
IEEE Computer Society and be available at IEEE XploreTM. The following information is provided to help you in
the preparation and submission of your final paper as it will be published in the proceedings. Please follow
all STEPs to insure the submission process is completed successfully.

STEP 1: Paper Specifications
Your final paper must follow the page limits listed below. The paper will not be included in the conference proceedings
if its length violates the maximum number of pages.
PAGE LIMITS:
Regular Papers: Maximum of EIGHT 8.5"x11" pages (including figures, tables, and references)
Poster Papers: Maximum of TWO 8.5"x11" pages (including figures, tables, and references)
Note: Up to TWO additional pages may be purchased for 80 Euros per page (i.e. a total page
limit of up to 10 pages for regular papers and 4 pages for short papers).

STEP 2: Important Deadlines
PAPER DEADLINE: Camera-ready paper submission is due by 20 July 2010.
COPYRIGHT DEADLINE: A signed copyright release form is due by 20 July 2010.
CADS 2010 should be included on all correspondence. This will assure that your correspondence is directed immediately to conference office.

STEP 3: Important Information about Preparing your Paper
The IEEE is dedicated to the worldwide distribution of conference papers to engineering professionals. The IEEE digital
libraries are the primary delivery method, especially the IEEE Xplore digital library. This requires that all papers
submitted for publication must meet a minimum standard for both print and electronic publishing.

STEP 4: Formatting the Paper
The final papers MUST be formatted to IEEE Proceedings Manuscript Formatting Guidelines. See the link below to
"formatting instructions".
NOTE: It is highly recommended that the corresponding author proofread and check the layout of the final version
of paper BEFORE submitting it.

STEP 5: PDF File Creation
The authors can use IEEE PDF eXpress
webpage to attain an IEEE Xplore-compatible version of their paper. IEEE PDF eXpress helps authors to convert
their papers into IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF files (conversion function) or to check their own PDF files for IEEE Xplore
compatibility (PDF validation function). Note that,
IEEE PDF eXpress is not a
file submission system and does not capture files. An author's file simply passes through the system
returning a PDF file or an error report.
Important Note 1: In IEEE PDF eXpress
login page enter CADS2010x for Conference ID.
Important Note 2: After using PDF file conversion/checking, you will still need to submit the IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF file of
your final paper later in this publication submission process (see STEP 7).
If you are using Adobe distiller to create your pdf file, please change the setting on your distiller to insure your
paper meets IEEE PDF specifications. Basic PDF distiller settings MUST be changed to:
- Optimized
- Acrobat 5.0 compatibility
- ALL graphics at least 300 dpi resolution (higher if preferred)
- ALL fonts MUST be embedded and subset
- Postscript settings DO NOT override distiller settings
- Page size is 612.0 x 792.0 points (8.5" x 11")
Important Note 3: You can perform above settings by downloading the Adobe Sample distiller settings
(ZIP, 53 KB) to ensure Xplore compatibility if accepting PDFs from various sources.
Then install according to
Adobe Acrobat Setting Installation.
Important Note 4: Authors must check their final PDF files before submission to verify that all fonts
have been properly embedded and subset. Some font manufacturers now flag their fonts to not embed. These
fonts must be avoided.

STEP 6: Submitting the Signed Copyright Release Form
Please fill-out and sign the following IEEE copyright release form
(pdf form). You will need to include:
- Paper's full title
- All authors names
- Conference title: The 15th CSI International Symposium on Computer Architecture and Digital Systems (CADS2010)
- Signature (on appropriate line)
The signed IEEE copyright release form should be sent to the Publications Chair by July 20th, 2010. Use ONE of the following options
to send the signed form. However, it is preferred that you e-mail the copyright form.
- Sign, scan the form and send it via e-mail with message subject "Copyright form for CADS2010 Paper Number XX"
to safaei@ipm.ir
- Fax it to (+98) 2122 82 86 87 to the attention of Farshad Safaei with subject
"Copyright form for CADS2010 Paper Number XX".

STEP 7: Final Paper Submission
The camera ready version should be submitted through the
Easychair Proceedings Menu.
Following items should be prepared before submitting process:
- PDF file of the paper in IEEE-compliant format (See STEP 5).
Important Note: Any paper which does not confirm to the format will be excluded from the proceedings.
- MS Word or Latex version of the paper.
Important Note: Any MS Word file should be compatible with MS Office 2003; DOCX format (MS Office 2007) is not acceptable.
If you have any questions about the above procedures, kindly feel free to contact the publication chair at safaei@ipm.ir.
